BEER WITH THE BARD FAQ

WHAT?

This is a guided tour of four local watering holes with a performance or two from the works of Shakespeare at each venue.

WHEN?

Sunday, April 22, 2017.  We have two tours. The first one starts at 1:00pm and will finish around 3:00pm and the second one starts at 2:00pm and will finish around 4:00pm.  Patrons will spend about 30 minutes in each location.

HOW?

Get your ticket online here, or, show up at Borderlands Brewery 30 minutes before your desired start time and let the fun begin! This event will sell out – we recommend buying online in advance.

WHERE?

We start at Borderlands Brewery.  Stop #2 is Tap & Bottle.  Then we will head down the street for locale #3, The Royal Room. We finish our Pub Crawl at The Flycatcher on the corner of 4th Ave and 6th St.

HOW MUCH?

Wristbands (tickets) are only $10.  $3 off with a Tucson Fringe Festival Button (from any year) at the door.  All-Inclusive Wristbands are $35 and include one ticket and one drink ticket at each venue (That’s Four Drinks Total!).

DOES THAT INCLUDE DRINKS?

Only with the All-Inclusive Wristbands, but that only covers one drink at each venue.  Otherwise, my friend, you got to buy your own.  Some of the pubs may be offering drink specials for wristband holders – we will know more about that as the day gets closer.

IT’S CALLED BEER WITH THE BARD – DO I HAVE TO DRINK BEER?

No, absolutely not.  You can drink whatever you want, including but not limited to water, soda, coffee, or gin ‘n juice.  To each his or her own.

4 BEERS in 2.5 HOURS… I’LL BE SO… HUNGRY AFTERWARDS!

We are working on having either appetizers at The Royal Room or having pizza delivered to the Flycatcher that afternoon to give you a little pick-me-up / carbo-load so you can get home safely.

BUT… BUT… WHATEVER WILL I WEAR?!?!?

While we are not opposed to you working out your Renaissance Faire withdrawals through us, you are under no obligation to wear anything special.  Please note; however, that you’ll be walking HALF A MILE according to google maps so wear those boots made for walkin’.
