Applications for the 8thAnnual Tucson Fringe Theater Festival are now open!  Visit our Apply to Perform page to learn all the details about the most amazing festival in Tucson, AZ.  The festival will take place on January 11, 12, and 13, 2019. Enjoy the beautiful Winter weather and the unique saguaro cacti in the Old Pueblo.  Even if you don’t apply for the festival, you can still give T-Town a visit and live a new adventure.  Artists from all over the world have applied and performed at the Tucson Fringe Festival.

We are nearing the end of our negotiations with venues and will be announcing them before applications close on September 1st.  We do encourage people to apply who may be considered underrepresented in the traditional theater world (women, people of color, LGBTQIA+).  The application fee is $15, and this does not guarantee you will be selected for the festival.  We have a brilliant, scientific method for choosing our performers every year.  We literally draw names out of a hat.  This drawing will take place in mid-September and all performers will be informed shortly after.  No hats are harmed during this process.  You can find out more about participation fees on our Apply to Perform page.

We happily accept any support from anyone with a desire to help, be it financial donations, equipment donations, or volunteer service.  We will need volunteers during the festival, but a helpful hand goes a long way in the planning months.  Anyone interested in helping out, even in a small way, please visit our Contact page and fill out the form.  The best way anyone can help will be to spread the world.  Follow us on Twitter and Instagram, Like us on Facebook, share and comment and tell your friends.  Ask to be put on our mailing list and stay up to date on what’s happening with the Fringe!
