The Ship is Sinking Normally

bryanDavid Foster Wallace is sure that he is not definitely alive or dead. Everything else is as it never was and will always be w/r/t the end of life and all of that.

A play set to live music and video sequences, THE SHIP IS SINKING NORMALLY transforms the indefinably amazing words of David Foster Wallace. Characters from Wallace’s body of work embroil themselves in his post-suicidal world. The legendary author of books such as Infinite Jest, Brief Interviews With Hideous Men, Consider the Lobster and many more is the centerpiece in this completely unexpected work which deals with the predicament of life and the strange lucidity of death.

Written by Bryan Sanders and performed by Bryan Sanders and Friends, 8:30pm Friday, March 1.
