RENOIR BLUE is a play set during the 1920s about at-the-top-of-her-game Dorothy Parker, meeting another success driven woman writer – Zora Neale Hurston on the Long Island Railroad. Much of “Renoir Blue” occurs on their train rides together. They collide just at the moment when the tedium of performing as the Algonquin Table’s female wit has left Parker cold.
